In 2010 molitorjames invested in Human Capital trends and research by attending the Asia Pacific HR Congress in Bangkok, where key HR futurists such as Professor Dave Ulrich from the US and Michael Potter from the UK presented and facilitated workshops on critical leadership and human capital considerations. The topics included leadership brand versus leadership, external stakeholder ratings for HR and the leadership team , HR transformation and leadership code/DNA.

Whilst in Thailand we visited our mining clients including Banpu Public Company and held discussions with Austrade on current activity in the region, in particular the efffect of the GFC in Asia.

In June 2009, molitorjames secured its first international Executive Search assignment. Working with Banpu Public Company in Thailand, we undertook an international search to attract and secure a Head of Marine Operations for their Balikpapan Indonesia Coal operations.

In 2008 molitorjames made several forays into the Asian market, culminating in trips to Vietnam and Thailand to meet with major finance and banking, oil and gas and manufacturing clients to discuss prospects for our products and services.
